MossMan
Just a quick update as I am returning from the Bellingham airport and stopped at my work for a few min, snowing here and sticking on all the colder surfaces. On another note, light snow/graupel mix here. I was right! I think I just said the game would be a blow-out. Too tired to check. bainbridgekid
Left Mountlake Terrace around 2:15 just as the parking lot was starting to turn white. bainbridgekid
18z is DRAMATICALLY wetter for tomorrow for the Puget Sound region. Not sure I've ever seen such a huge difference less than 24 hours out. From basically nothing to over 0.5" across most of the region. Unfortunately the air has really moistened up from the band today, so it will be tough to get any more evaporative cooling. 12z: 18z: Quote Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation) Snow since February 2019: 91" 2023-24: 6" 2022-23: 17.5" 2021-22: 17.75" 2020-21: 14.5” 2019-20: 10.5" 2018-19: 24.75"
Jesse
Hope to see a lot of maps and pictures posted. It sounds like a lot of you will see some decent accumulations and there is a significant chance for another snow or cold event in the coming week. I've been excited about the pool of cold that was making its way in the models, but it sounds like it will be west based. All we needed was for one weenie to move to the east coast and we are set for the winter.
