Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Looks like Silver Falls never got past their midnight high of 37 today, so probably 35-36 at our place, we’ll see when I get home from work. Too bad there wasn’t more moisture to work with because their airmass is perfect. But we never do well with NW flow in post frontal situations. SW or westerly shower orientation are our bread and butter.

Those dewpoints up in western Washington are pretty darn impressive.

I've never understood how to read these

Red is temps...  0km or near surface... green is DP... with high enough rates, we can get the temps down to DP or when the air is saturated enough and it'll turn to snow, evap cooling. IF we get there.

Then obviously, you have the 850 and 500 levels in there as well.

Eyeballing about a -22 gradient through the Fraser. Could see some monster drifts out of this locally if it verifies. Or, more likely, that pretty blue over my house disappears and I end up with a dry blast.

Current Temp/DP spreads are really looking good. Great starting point ahead of the storm. As long as we hold onto offshore flow it's looking pretty good IMO from at least Seattle North and West toward Kitsap.

I've been informed that I'll be in Bend for a couple of more days. Fine by me, the snow is still fresh and more walks with the doggie for me. Was 32 for a high at my location so very little melting other than where the sun hit it. Just shoveled the driveway. I did a crappy job due to inexperience and laziness. Made a tiny snowbank that could survive for a while.
