33 here with heavy wet snow... pavement has turned white as well.

Storm made its way to the northeastern part of the state. Breezy here with the frequent gust. Light snow. 28 degrees.

The low is just north of Astoria but is transferring to be just east of Puyallup. The 3km NAM is encouraging decreasing the 1000mb-950mb temps  later in the morning but I wouldn't place bets on it.

Snowing and 33 degrees. Still just under an inch. Need to get the temp down just a tad but still amazing to look out and see snow on the ground and in the trees and snow falling from the sky on November 5th!!

Just heard from my dad that it’s snowing and sticking in Port Townsend.

Past 2 hours 925mb temps have fallen rather quickly and the 0c line is progressing southward nicely.

Woke up to almost an inch of snow in Bend this morning. Perfect timing with the precip around 4am. Currently it’s 34 with clearing skies.

It was a little frustrating driving home in the rain just now.

 

Then I remembered I was coming home from a Halloween party.

Nothing beats Halloween events in the first few days of November!  As long as you don't go pass the Cross Quarter point on November 6th or 7th (9:25pm on the 6th this year), you shouldn't be "out of season."

00z GFS is showing 850 temps over The Dalles of about -2 to -3 on Wednesday as precip arrives.  Assuming chilly easterly flow underneath the incoming moisture (ALL the models are suggesting that it at least starts out that way), then I see no reason why it wouldn't start out as snow almost all the way to river level Wednesday morning:
