Maybe I’m weird but I’ve always liked the early sunsets. The long evenings can be cozy. On the flip side I’ve always enjoyed the super late sunsets on the opposite side of the year too. I enjoy dynamism when it comes to daylight length throughout the year. To me it would be strange living at a lower latitude where daylight length and sun angle are more uniform year round. I realize this is just personal preference though.
Nice little front moving over the Portland metro this evening. A band of light to moderate rain, and VERY breezy NW winds. First measurable rainfall in over a week. Great petrichor smell out there at the moment.
56 currently with .02” rain so far.
Like I said, he was the guy. Just felt like the thing to do. I read the discourse that day and thought it would spruce things up during an otherwise boring stretch of weather.
I'll probably remove it tonight, if I remember. The bit's pretty dead.
Thought the same thing
