Hope everybody’s last minute Christmas wrapping is going well. Watching the traditional annual movies with m’lady.

Muppet Christmas Carol

A Christmas Story

Snow in those movies. Gives one hope for a White Christmas to break the 29 year streak next year.

Love living near a close hill that you can drive up to real quick just for fun. Not something most people get excited about but Im sure most here do.

I walk up to my neighbors/friends 50acres behind us. We are at 550’, their top elevation is 705’. It’s cool to see the difference when the S.L. Is marginal.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Gold Mountain is right behind my house and it is 1700ft at the top. I hiked up there last February when we had all that snow and there was over 5 feet up there. I sure wish I could buy property up there but it is watershed area.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

This run is SO close to shunting the energy cutting off down to Hawaii/cutoff low with ideal block development/placement to turn things cold by Day 10 and then craziness after. If that high pressure cell can build a bit more northwestward above the cut-off low as it merges with the Aleutian ridge. SO CLOSE!

Not tonight at least!

My late wife would absolutely loose it and giggle the entire time when they were singing the Christmas songs in the Chinese restaurant. It was a funny thing because me and my boy would watch Mom and just wait for the laughs to begin. Good memories.
