Gradient Keeper Posted January 5, 2020 Report Share Posted January 5, 2020 The key changes on the 00z GFS to being much colder, snowier is Day 4.5 to 5 the low was 8-9mb weaker than 12z. This resulted in not shoving the bitter arctic air eastward out of Eastern Alaska, Northern BC and phased better allowing the bitter air to plunge southward in BC.
