snow_wizard
I ended up with exactly 2 inches of snow for yesterday and it's still snowing. Very slow accumulation tonight, but it's adding up. I was pretty surprised by the dramatic change in snowfall coverage for tomorrow night on all models. Another step like that and it could nail everywhere from Olympia to Bellingham. FWIW the control model on the GFS ensemble shows another significant cold wave later in the month with a 5 day period of 850s -8 or lower.. There has been some hinting of that. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! Skagit Weather
Wow. Finally got caught up from all the drama that occurred in the last 15 hours. Today was a chilly one with a midnight high of 29F and a slow drop to 22F. Just popped back up to 23F. Oh, and after 24 hours of radar incineration, one scraggly shower made it through the Skagit County dome and made me extremely happy.
