Deweydog
The main event of the winter so far for the PNW is obviously happening this week. MLK was a closer call...Sure. But it depends on your perspective. On the micro level you’re going to have a tonight time convincing anyone south of XXXXX (undetermined as of yet) had any real redeeming qualities. November produced temps down near 20 and snow. For that “event” to even be in the game as potentially the “highlight” of the winter for a large portion of the region is pretty compelling. We’ll see, but the clock is ticking! 1 Quote My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Chewbacca Defense
No more north wind on the ECMWF for the next 10 days after early tomorrow morning for the Seattle area. Outflow hangs on up there until Wednesday evening. By Thursday morning... its done up there as well and its into the 40s. Maybe my parents will be able to leave their house and get down their hill... which would be good because my dad just had major surgery. But the air mass cools down again on Friday into Saturday... enough for some lowland snow in places despite the lack of Fraser outflow. Its a pretty weak warm up. Bummer about your dad, hopefully he has a quick recovery. I’m trying to remember, aren’t they in the Tweed Twenty area? Might be getting mixed up with someone else, seems like a lot of folks on this forum have Bellingham ties...anyway if they are they are near me. If they need anything from the store or a prescription picked up shoot me a message. I’ve been able to get around up here just fine despite all the ice, and I work down by Barkley Village/Haggen so it would be easy enough to help out.
