TT-SEA
It would appear that the south wind line today stopped basically at SEA. Which is why there was some convergence much of the day right over Seattle. We had some strong SW winds out here before and after our 1-hour snow dump around 2 p.m. But we are directly east of SEA... so that might be the line. Chewbacca Defense
There will be lots of window licking and staring at streetlights tonight!! I think I saw BLI topped out at 19, it topped out at 18 at my house and is already back down to 15. I have been asked a lot today about why all of the apps and forecasts have been struggling so bad. I even had one co-worker ask me as I was leaving when it was supposed to start and how much we were gonna get. I told him “when you look out the window and see a bunch of snow falling” and “guess we will find out in the morning once it’s all said and done”. He at least appreciated the humor in my answers! Rubus Leucodermis
High of 19˚F today in Bellingham. Pretty decent arctic blast up this way, even if it wasn't the epic, coldest-in-decades one that the GFS was forecasting a week out. 1 Quote It's called clown range for a reason. Make sure to get your shutters up and buy a telescope in case of a few snow flurries (practically extinct phenomena south of Centralia).
