Phil
Savannah GA! Jesus it was rough last year in May.You visit SE GA often? It’s one of our favorite spots on the planet despite the steam bath. We visit St. Simons every year in August, which is the most humid time of year lol. Definitely the worst swamp weather I’ve ever experienced is down there. Worse than here, worse than New Orleans, worse than Miami, worse than Galveston. Those waters are nuclear hot thanks to the sea breeze/BH downwelling on that extended continental shelf. They can easily surpass 90*F. Brian_in_Leavenworth
What’s wrong with Colorado? Denver is probably my #1 or #2 ideal “move to” climates as of now. Either that or a lake effect climate like Muskegon or Erie that also gets severe thunderstorm action.I love Colorado too, but the places that get a lot of snow are extraordinary expensive. Denver doesn't get that much, relatively speaking, and the snow often melts quickly. I like living in a place where the snow stays on the ground for 3 months and you can cross country ski and snowshoe without leaving town.
