There's some enhancement on radar over SW Washington. If the HRRR is correct it'll continue to build north over the sound.

Been periodically checking the radar the past few days. Seems like Victoria is getting dumped on.

Currently 21.7F. It's been lightly snowing for almost 24 hours here in Victoria now; this has been an impressive day for cold here, perhaps the most impressive Arctic outbreak here since Nov 2010. We had a midnight high of 28.9F and it's been getting progressively colder all day.

Looks like it's almost show time.  A lot of action coming around the south slopes of the Olympics.  SEA is now down to 30.  It's going to be the real deal tonight!

They will head north or northeast after coming around the south end of the Olympics.

This is why the PNA block scenarios are such good snow makers.  Low pressure systems keep sliding across the region at different latitudes.  That assures a wide area shares in the fun.  It's really a bummer the pattern breaks down as fast as it does.

Looking like moderate-heavy snow tomorrow evening. Wouldn't be surprised if we see 10-15cm, there should be decent enhancement from the outflow.

30 to 32mb of gradient through the fraser. That is insane and we are close to this time frame.

WRF gives Puget Sound a big storm as well-- gives Portland zilch though.

12z Euro looked decent but I heard 18z wasn't good.
