Part II- January 2020 Obs and Discussion

That stuff has been streaming east since this morning. The Fraser outflow always eats it up. All Whatcom County gets out of it is flurries.

Looks more robust now. And I think it's more likely to affect areas south of Whatcom.

Anyone know how Victoria has done with this so far?

Oooh, precip, and it feels kinda frozen. Not snow yet, but cooling off. Hoping I'll get a dusting!

Alot of us are on mobile usually, can't see locations in that format without switching to full version.

Ah, got it. My bad. I'll try to say "Tucson" in my posts from now on. Next week looks crappy here, maybe some rain on Thursday. Ensembles looking more promising in the long range though.

I literally said "here" and my location says "Tucson, AZ". Pretty obvious no?

Sorry if that didnt come out good. Didnt mean to offend you.

On a positive note, did you enjoy the snowfall last year there. I was there for 2 years at the UA. The desert was too much for me. Remember getting excited for rain as much as we are for snow here in PNW.

Yes, it was amazing. I took tons of pics that day in Feb. Sadly I missed the two snowfalls in January. Rain hasn't been THAT rare here the past year (15.86" on 73 days) but it still feels arid coming from Miami. I posted pics on the thread that got locked, will add them again:

Beautiful.

I do recognize the Old Main building. I want to visit it again for sure. This time of the year is surely the best time to visit.
