Well defined front... very little in the way of low clouds behind it.   Dark clouds here now.

18Z ECMWF shows 74, 72, and 78 the next 3 days.   That 72 on Wednesday is pretty chilly for what is shown to be a sunny afternoon.

Oooh, a red-spotted garter snake, Thamnophis sirtalis concinnus. I love those.

They like to eat, amongst other things, slugs.

This one was right near my deck where all of the slugs go to hide during the day so I’m sure it has been feasting well!

A near 2σ -SAM centered at the winter solstice and a weak circumpolar current. Opposite of 2014 (when the record for maximum sea ice extent was set).

Meanwhile... the back-slapping duo spends every winter and spring trolling the hell out of anyone who would like a sunny day and professing drunk love for each other and making everything personal.   All the while knowing full well they will get their comeuppance in just a short time.    It defies logic.    

One more thing... why would my posting be related to you anyways?   I like tracking weather.  It has nothing to do with you.  I would post the same even if you guys weren't here.   On the flip side... you guys spent all of spring making it personal just like last spring.   I said that was silly at the time.  And it will be when you do it again next spring.  Starting to think nature is just intent on punishing you.   You should try a different approach.

My mom just reported that the satellite signal went out during the Mariners game.  She is pretty excited about the rain though.

Some of this stuff is pretty intense. Just had a narrow band come through that darkened the sky and wrung out a few hundredths of an inch in a matter of 30 seconds. Fun.

Lots of enhancement in the radar out here in the last 30 minutes.   Raining pretty good now... a heavy soaking mist.
