A comparatively toasty 41.2˚F and 0.14" on the day so far here.

Anyway, looks like the passes are still getting dumped on. 
And The Fuzz is still looking good.

Nice, I have 2.84" for the month and it's just going up. I've had 0.83" since midnight and it's still coming down.

Rain has been pretty light for me.  .08 since it started.  The AR was more of an atmospheric babbling brook for my area.

The cams will hopefully be back up, it's malfunctioning and not meant to be permanently set to private.  Happens once in a while.  Too bad because it's snowing hard now.  It will turn to rain of course later on, but the more snow we get maybe the foot we got Friday/Saturday and what we get today may survive the rain.  Certainly we will lose a lot though.  But maybe more snow next weekend when I'm in Europe.  Would be nice to come home to snow cover.

Got a ways to go before I get there. The Euro says it will happen in the next week while the GFS says it may not happen by the end of the run. However, I'm more interested to see whether I can pick up another 6" to prevent this from being my driest year on record (behind 2019). I think it's probably unlikely I'll pick up another 14" to get me up to average on the year.

The focus of this AR was Oregon. We will be in the bullseye tomorrow for the next one.

Last night's CFS run showed just under 24" of rain here between now and January 4th.

One week from today looks ridgy on the 12Z ECMWF... but devil is in the details and its the heart of the rainy season.    What would be a hot pattern in the warm season is often very wet at this time of year.    Right now the focus in Oregon but another AR event is quite possible somewhere.

GFS shows about 12" of additional rain here through end of the run. That would put us at about 15" for the month. But what is interesting about the GFS is it does not pick up terrain super well. If SLE really had 9" of rain we would likely have much more than 12" in that time frame. On the other hand we can have months like February 2017 where we ended up about even with SLE. December 2015 we picked up 22" of rain.

Looks like the ECMWF shows around 5 inches here and 3 inches in Seattle over the same time period.    That shouldn't cause any issues up here.
