Possible there’s a little more offshore flow/downsloping being advertised up that way, due to the rex block-esque positioning of the ridge.

And be careful what you say. He has a habit of calling out dissenters on air ;)

He mentioned my warm tongue on air once. My first thought was “how would you know?!”

Finals week for me, this is gonna be such a good treat once I’m done with school and the week is complete. Planning to go target shooting in the woods with dad on that 70-burger day.

4 days that will be pleasantly warm.... dry spell will probably last right around a week from Wednesday morning through Wednesday morning.

12z Euro fully on board with temps near 70 both Saturday and Sunday. Low 70's in the foothills Saturday. Perfectly timed with peak warmth over the weekend and if things break down sooner with some mountain snow later next week that's best of both worlds IMO.

They average about as much snowfall per year as Buffalo, NY! (But conditions between storms tend to be significantly milder, at least in the daytime, allowing for much melting and compaction between snowfalls. In addition, it is much sunnier overall.)

Yep, my wife would certainly enjoy it more than Inland NW winters (more Sun, longer days) and I'd still get snow

Artificially inflated of course.    And you are the undisputed king of Karen-like drama in the last few years.  Its like you are aging backwards in terms of maturity.

Those were pretty active stormy winters.  The majority of the forum likes that weather in the winter.

Can't wait for the sun and warmth this weekend, this weather right now SUCKS. 40 degrees and cloudy back at my home station, 28 with light snow here at Mount Bachelor. Either give us sunny days, or snowstorms!

I’m most likely graduating early so I might spend next spring traveling. Portugal is one of my top choices currently. Maybe I’ll get to report back to you!

I’m planning a European vacation in the next few years. Portugal and Spain are definitely on the list of places I’ll be visiting.

Brussels, Belgium (7,835 kilometres away) is the far-away foreign place with temperatures most similar to Vancouver International Airport (view comparison).

Though I think it strange they characterize our winters as “very cold” despite temperatures usually being above freezing.

That’s a good comparison. This one is interesting for @Phil

Bagratashen, Armenia (5,808 miles away) is the far-away foreign place with temperatures most similar to Cabin John

Booked my first tee times of the year for Friday after work and Sunday afternoon and I'm skiing Stevens on Saturday.

Told me friends to expect 50 degree sunshine on the slopes and to golf in shorts on Sunday. Gotta make the most of times like this.

Hopefully it'll get warm enough for some corn snow conditions, that's always pretty good.

Nice day to be out in the woods. Just need to head to either @MossMan’s house or the Middle Fork find snow at 1,000 ft in western WA. Found some old growth cedars as well.
