Looking for folks who would be interested in playing host to some sensors, radios, and small computers. I would be collecting atmospheric conditions, gases, radiation, and emergency pages sent out to first responders.
This would be a part of what might be an open mesonet network of stations that provide more data than your typical weather station. As host to the station you would have access to the data coming from it as well as the data collected from other stations.

Snow for the Mountain Passes.
Where: Coquihalla Highway, Allison Pass, Okanagan Connector, and Kootenay Pass.
When: Tonight to Wednesday morning.
What: Snowfall amounts of a trace to 4 cm with locally higher amounts possible. Transportation routes may be impacted. Travellers should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions.
Remarks: Snow levels will drop below pass level for most high elevation travellers routes tonight and rise through the day on Wednesday. Some snowfall is expected to develop tonight and transition to rain showers Wednesday morning. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
