That big slug of precip between the 13th and 15th is looking snowy in the WA Cascades but pretty borderline in OR. However, Euro peaks at 1ºC in that period for 850 over Mt Hood. Maybe a big dump of wet snow.

The EPS PNA forecast just keeps extending the period of robust -PNA.  No doubt we have entered a chilly regime sooner than would normally be expected with a major La Nina.

Nice progressive upper pattern, still want that block to be a bit more stout and not so d**n "top heavy", place that block around 148W and we're golden BROTHER!

Perfect (BC slider) pattern right there, form those weak surface lows around Haida Gwai and then have them come ashore just south of Ocean Shores/Long Beach.
