Sorry for posting the the 15-day loop of the EPS with no comment.

I am not here to ruin anyone's fun.   I have said almost nothing about the windstorm... other than to post a map that looked good for Oregon.   

I also don't say anything about anyone's weather preferences.   Find a post this year where I picked on someone's preferences.    I decided I needed to improve in that regard because its counter-productive to the discussion and not my place to tell people what they should or should not like.

Maybe I got bad eyesight but it looks like the low moves north as it goes through western wa near the king/snohomish border

Maybe so.   I am sorry that it comes across that way.  I honestly understand your perspective.

I have not even been tracking the models much for the past 10 days given all of the other distractions so it was not intentional.    I don't think the EPS ever showed a really cold pattern coming up.   The 12Z EPS is not really that warm or cold though.   It shows a pretty active pattern overall and looks colder/troughier in the long range.    I did make a post that the EPS does agree with the ECMWF overall and that might be meaningful.    But it also turns colder again just outside the range of the ECMWF.

18z GFS weakest yet. 1002-1004mb Open wave much further south west of the Central Oregon Coast. No surface low whatsoever. WHAT! Oh well At least we stay on the cool side for good mountain snows.

It could just be me, but I think people are being a bit too hard on Tim. I know. You probably do not agree. I understand how he posts or his posting habits and the past, but it just seems a bit unfair. Just from posting the EPS maps? Do we only want him to post what we want to see and if he doesn't, he gets criticized for it. I could be on my own here. Here comes the downvotes!

Ever tried Mt. Dew and Crown? Yeah. It wasn't nearly as awful as I expected. I haven't had any 'fun punch' in years. Looking at the models it may be a good time to walk up to the liquor store.

Insane to see the turn around models just did in the last 12 hours. This is for a low that is only 2 days out.
