18 in Bend at my location. Crystal clear, no wind and snow cover. Single digits seem likely.

You might surprised that I think it would be too much to deal with.  There is too much of a good thing.  I've always thought the northern half of Central WA or Western MT would be the best for me.

Down to 36 here now.  Decoupling seems to have happened.  Interestingly this is the lowest I've seen the dp remain after the decoupling process is complete except for Arctic Blast situations.  I'm kind of interested to see what kind of a min I can get out of this.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think this month has been kind of fun.  I'm not even that upset about the wind event messing up my yard yesterday.

I've really enjoyed this month so far at least. Heavy rain to open the month, lowland snow in some places, then dry/cool with really nice sunshine.  And some strong east wind which I enjoy

This usually means Canadian Rockies type 20:1 powder at ski resort elevation. Not opposed.

I enjoy winters that have breaks in the rain... but even I find a November with sun every day to be really boring.   But I don't really care about cold without snow either.  That also seems boring to me.

How? You love posting pics of Cold and SNOW, especially when you live in such an outstanding area by the foothills.
