The first band came through and it snowed pretty good this one not so much. Just light snow here for now. Sometimes it takes the flakes a bit longer to make it to the ground? Lol

Radar is soooo frustrating in these situations. I tell myself the same things like oooh I bet they’re blowing away from the clouds at an angle so the radar signatures actually need to be north of me or some bs lol

No new snow overnight that i can tell here in Woodinville. Crunchy side streets/neighborhoods , main roads are fine. Kinda thinking maybe, just maybe the euro was right abiut this one. Not a lot of moisture to work with this one.

Looked at temperatures for the first time and I’m surprised they’re as warm as they are. I expecting maybe high 20s this morning, not freezing or just above. The flakes here are really small despite being under some heavier precip on the radar.

I’ve done pretty well not going to the radar and just enjoying the background snow happening and doing my projects around the house.  Watching the radar or stock market I found is bad for my health at times!!! 
I have to say it’s pretty weird to be getting the action this week.  Usually we’re the ones to fail at the white stuff.

We've been hovering right around 31* since about 5am. I too, am nervous about the temps. lol

26 with DP at 13.  0" accumulation of snow overnight but we did accumulate 18.3 miles per hour in wind gusts. 

 

We did have some thick freezing fog around 9-10 last night, glad the winds did kick that up to push that out and get rid of the ice that was starting to accumulate.

I've picked up about another inch this morning.  Looks like a nice area of snow east of OLM right now.  Hard to tell how far west the snowfall from that will extend when it gets further north.

Well it should be cold enough for snowflakes at this point.  Down to 35 and the upper levels have cooled. The problem is getting moisture. It all looks NW of me for the time being.

It is snowing and sticking down to the lowest elevations along the coast. Pretty decent airmass. Hopefully we can get one of these clusters of showers to go directly over the metro. Could lead to some quick accumulations.
