Also, this station is a block away from me and his temps almost always match mine within a half degree, so bookmark it if you'd like to keep tabs on my location. I'd also love to see yours go online.

I would if I could. It doesn't have online capability. It was a gift from @MR.SNOWMIZERand I can't thank him enough because I'm not able to afford one on my own.

Currently 36F and cloudy.

Interesting read from NWS of Medford of what is the situation here and why the temps haven’t gone down quicker as predicted. Still they think they will keep going down during the day. We will see!!

Just checked the radar and it does seem like some moisture is working it’s way up the sound. Also looks like some decent signatures off the coast.

32 and snows starting up. Decided to get another couple hours of sleep since the band sheared apart due to dry air. Looks like it’s about to get more interesting here.

Based on radar looks like N winds are colliding with the band of precip working in south. Snow is slowly getting heavier. Looks like some good upslope snow in port Angeles area.

Definitely! Should warm into the mid 30s today I’d imagine the north wind and lower DPs should creep back in and the snow should stick around the next couple days.

It was mostly dry all night, but it looks like shower activity is picking up again in NW Oregon. Raining here, but 37 degrees. Going to need a decent amount of precipitation to lower the temperature.

Temp at 31.3* DP at 30.4*  We have just under 2 inches of snow, and school is canceled in Yelm today, so, I am a happy camper. :)

I was so excited to let Tormund (6mo puppy) out and see his reaction to snow........Nada. lol He is thoroughly unimpressed and showed it by peeing on the deck.

The NWS has a graphic posted about wind chill and temps in the teens and twenties down here....but there's no timing on it, it just says "morning". There is no wind, and it is 31* here......Does anyone know anything about timing on that....or is it not happening....?

Me too, just under 1/2" so far, the moisture is getting shredded and then reforming once past here.  The gap can be a curse sometimes too.

Took a quick measurement and we picked up 0.3” of snow with this first band this morning. Still not sticking to the main road much but it’s sticking on the side streets a bit.

Any reports from Burien/Tukwila/Renton?

Light snow with fat flakes here just started maybe 15 min ago. Seems like same situation as TacomaWx. Not covering main roads yet but close. Temp is rock steady at 32.0

Good question because I think tmrw morning and sat morning we are also expecting some showers? Which may eat into our potential dry out and coldest periods

Thanks. Traffic cams seems to say the same, looks like coming down good in some spots but roads bare for most part

We got just enough last night to start the covering process. Roads were half inch of slush when I took the dog out at 9pm. That mostly froze so I’d bet it won’t take long to cover unless they warmed up a bit this morning - also likely since I went up from 31 to 32 and I’m above the freeways and cams.

Yeah the forecast discussion talks about possible showers tomorrow, and about the other systems coming, but has no mention of the 18* wind chill the graphic shows....So I am very confused.
