I am all about being green but not this far lol. I ended up using a rack and it took so much longer but it gets the job done

Noise can be a pollution too. I can't stand them, but I get the tradeoff.

It appears this east wind event is going to underperform for once.  Highest gust has only been 19 here so far.

I could never do that.  Even when I did yardwork as a youngster, I hauled the debris away or put it in a pile the homeowner specified.

I've seen the same thing myself and it just reminds this is not the good old days.

I'm certain they could make a plug in one strong enough.  Electric motors can actually be quite impressive for strength.

Landscapers want to make money, and the customers don't want to spend that much money on leaf clean-up. This results in the "mow and blow" operations that dominate the industry, where a couple guys blast the place clean in about 15 minutes (and essentially move the problem somewhere else, rather than fixing it). Classic externalized cost.   

I'm nearly incapable of cutting corners on almost any job.  Almost to a fault sometimes.

This blower I have is a beast, most powerful battery blower on the market and the thing is almost as powerful as my huge model 800 stihl backpack blower! I grab this blower now most of the time. Battery runs 30 minutes on a charge. This company makes some nice stuff.

I'm the same and the reason why I blow away the competition in the automotive repair world in our area over here. Just do the D**n job right the first time.

With the MJO wave progress speeding up the models seem to like the idea of getting decently cold before this month is over.  Hope it actually happens.

Next Wed and Thursday are looking chilly, especially compared to the last 2 weeks. Probably 5 degrees below average.

No doubt things are looking up.  The second half of the month may end up ok.  Remains to be seen if we can get something really good at the very end or not.

If the battery lasted longer I would definitely get one! Blowing around my place is a 4 hour job at the height of the fall blow down almost weekly so even with two batteries I would still be swapping and waiting for charging unless the battery is a quick charge?

I did specify on large scale.  I learned long ago that blanket statements are never correct.

Almost every model/run is showing a return to more GOA ridging at around 10 days. Good sign
