Phil
I made the Nov 2014 vs Feb 2015 as a success vs failure case earlier. The way this could fail is if the downstream breaker ends up impotent and there ends up being too much vortex in NE-Canada, like February 2015. That was a vicious Arctic blast for much of the US, but it snubbed the West because there was no high/+MSLP anomaly to the NE. 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=
