All one has to do is compare yesterdays 18z run of the NAM to what its going to spit out now to see how goofy this hobby is..

It is silly but some of us have other hobbies riding on this one. I snowboard and snowmobile and following this stuff is a lot of fun when you have all of that on the line.

Just freezing drizzle here in Omaha with no snow to speak of... this system has turned out to be an absolute bust for Nebraska as a whole. I am thankful that we were able to sneak in some snow last weekend... that makes missing this one sting a whole lot less. Good luck to all of you out to the East with this one. I am out on this dud of a storm for my local area.

Nice flakes flying here in the city...no pixie dust...hopefully this band fills into N IL over the next few hours. Signs the storm is beginning to phase as moisture is starting to blossom down in MO/KS. SW/NE orientation on radar looks like it should be a long evening of snowfall around here.

Radar is decieving here on S side of DSM. Mainly columns. Poor crystal formation. No way that bullseye on latest Rap happens if it stays like this but in just writing this flake shape has improved.

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

I’m in Wicker Park and it has started snowing here in the city...no verga which is nice to see.

Man I love that show, you ever see it?! Freezing drizzle have been on going all day and school was let out at 1. Hoping to get lucky with snow next week because this brown grass is just depressing.
