Jbolin
I hope the storms are widespread this evening. In many areas they look to be dry, but we'll see if a core goes right over downtown K-Falls I could get a little rain. I don't often see many dry ones here.SPC removed virtually all mention of convection in wa but added E. OR, and put SE OR into the MGRL category this aft. Best dynamics look to be in that area, ML is just too D**n weak up this way

TT-SEA
12Z WRF not running... they must not have connected it to the new GFS operational model. Omegaraptor
Whatever the GFS is now as of this morning... the 12Z run is much less impressive with the trough in the middle of next week compared to the 00Z run. 00Z run: New 12Z run: GFS upgrade! Of course the trough just goes into the poor, poor Midwest. Haven’t they had enough? A couple days of upper 60s with a marine layer and maybe some showers later in the day would be refreshing after this heat wave.

TT-SEA
The newly upgraded ECMWF took quite a bit of the punch away from next week's trough. The weekend (and next Monday) has also been trending warmer. The ECMWF runs from 2 days ago showed rain for western WA on Sunday and Monday... now it might end up in the upper 70s in Seattle both days. Still waiting for the surface maps to update past Monday... but it will likely be quite a bit drier than the last few runs.
