Its almost certain there will be snow at the onset... Mark is just talking about travel effects and accumulating snow.   If you want to see snow falling... then getting up early is a good idea regardless of what Mark says.

Got home about a half hour ago and the east wind has been absolutely raging. Gusts 40+ easily. 38 degrees.

The past 10-15 minutes it has ramped up several more notches here. BIG roaring gusts likely 50mph now. I like it!

I'm still hoping my area gets a touch of snow before any transition. I'm hoping my elevation wins out on this one.
