The last hour or so has pretty intense approaching an inch of rain on the day. SEA missing out again at only .25”. Too bad the storm last week wasn’t this strong. Prob would have had a foot of snow. This storm has the same trajectory as last weeks but the precip is strengthening as it passes the Olympics and not dissolving like last week.

Burien has over .75” of rain so far and less than half mile from SEA. Very fine line of major differences in precip.

EURO weeklies hinting at some possible negative EPO in February.

Absolutely pouring in Victoria now after virtually no precipitation since last Tuesday. Interesting that last Tuesday night had a very similar stream of moisture coming in from the west with much snowier results:

Colorful, but overall there were up’s and down’s.

10-day total snow on euro last run maxed at about 5" for my place but we'll see what 00z shows. Still would be a solid January with a few more inches.

The takeaway from the 00z GFS and its ensembles is we are entering a period of extremely ACTIVE weather!
