It's definitely been pretty bush in the Willamette Valley though.  3 February Hail Marys in a row isn't going to happen.

Bainbridge Island Schools were completely closed today. Interesting since they didn't actually really see any new snow, but apparently the roads were very icy.

 

Eh, we had a little.  Not much.  Ice was more of an issue.  Side roads were pretty icy in my neighborhood.

Ya, the next one to my south looks to have a bit more bite, hope to get 1/2" accumulation.

I'm always surprised by how often that Cosmopolis Hill camera has snow. Don't think it has much elevation either.

I think its a bit higher there than here, we are at 200 feet.

 

Next time I am out that way I will stop at MP78 to see what it is.

Precip is right over me now... I might have saw one snowflake or it could have been blowing off a tree.   And I can see the outline of the sun through the clouds.

Looks like the snow is down now for this week, got a decent trace today.

We picked up about a half inch last night. Started as sleet then switched to really big fat flakes. There was even a brief minute where it switched to some rain. Was below freezing the whole time, just barely. I missed seeing everything white this morning because I stayed up for the snow.

Yeah it didn’t do anything here either. Was hopeful given there were reports around Tacoma of precipitation reaching the ground but it looks like it lost steam as it moved north.

I think its a bit higher there than here, we are at 200 feet.

 

Next time I am out that way I will stop at MP78 to see what it is.

Looking at some maps, it looks like it is roughly at 300 foot eleveation at Cosi Hill MP78 camera.

Over 9" of precip on the month now. We have had precipitation every day so far this month. Average for the entire month is 10.5", so it seems we will end up on the top side of average.
