Sitting at 74 up here in Bellingham, but it feels warmer than that.  Went down to the OL Reign game last night, and what a beautiful evening. I think it was in the mid-70's when we got there around 3, and it was about 65 when we started heading home about 7:30.

Megan’s last game. Saw the Reign a couple times when they played in Cheney Stadium. Was nice to have it ten minutes away, but wasn’t too surprised when they moved to Lumen. A minor league baseball stadium as your pro soccer teams home field doesn’t exactly scream big time.

Yeah it was pretty cool to be there, over 34k in attendance.  I've been hearing some rumblings about a soccer specific stadium for the Sounders being built down at Starfire.  I've only been there once, so I don't know what to make of the validity of that actually happening, but I would definitely love to see them on a grass pitch.  Presumably the Seawolves would continue to play there, and the Reign would play there as well.

The supporters section last night was pretty lame.  Most people were sitting down and the singing/chanting was pretty quiet.

Last time I was in GA was for a Sounders match pre-pandemic, and it was very active/animated. I don't know how it is this year, and I don't get to watch matches any more since their move to Apple TV, so I have no idea if the ECS has gone lame as well.

Probably just a slash pile. Burn season started October 1st. I know my in laws told me they were going to be burning all my piles today.

My kids played club soccer for ten years in the Renton/Kent/Maple Valley area so we spent lots of time at Starfire. Hard to see the Sounders there - would be a traffic nightmare getting in and out. But would be fun to see if they could figure that part out.

On boat with my sons and their friends... they told us to come out.   Gorgeous out here.   Feels like 7 p.m. on a warm July evening.

Went on a walk on the Snoqualmie valley trail today. It is a pretty nice walk to do in the fall because of how all the trees look. Though a lot of them still have green leaves right now.
