There are some parks I want to go and see down there by Mt. Lemmon. I remember driving up the winding roads and the temp dropping quickly in the middle of summer. Nice place to visit for sure.
That's fascinating it doesn't freeze. Is it because of the water being so pure and clean? I skied up in Heavenly Tahoe and that lake is formed by an old glacier and it also doesn't freeze completely. If I remember correctly, its due to the water being so pure and clean. You can see 30 feet down! I took a boat tour that had a glass bottom and the visibility of the water was amazing. This is a memory I will never forget.
