Low doesn't end up super deep, but the PDX-EUG gradient is around -8 to -10mb. Windy.

Heatwave compared to 24 hours ago. It was 9 yesterday, now like 30-31 degrees.

Later this evening should be my first snow in several days. May not stick until well after dark.

No sign of the Aleutian low relenting in the GEFS yet.

Of course, with the SSW hopefully shaking things up in a big way, these things can change abruptly (as has been discussed).

Colder than I expected this morning... currently have moderate rain with some giant snowflakes randomly mixed in and 35 degrees.   I can see the top of the ridge and its not really snowing up there either... but somehow these random snowflakes are making it to the ground even down here.  

Snoqualmie Pass is getting hammered this morning so that is nice.

1.27” of rain overnight.  Between that and the melting snow there was a lot of standing water out there this morning
