westMJim
There is a typical spring time snow fall here this morning. So far 1.5" of snow on the grassy areas and just wet sloppy mess on the road and driveway. The current temperature here is 31. Yesterday was windy and with the cold front going thru overnight the high of 58 was reached just after midnight. The daylight hours were windy and in the upper 30's.

mlgamer
The first six days of March had a +9.8 temp anomaly, but we have a fresh blanket of snow on this crisp March 7 morning. A solid 1.5" on the deck with maybe a bit more in the grassy areas. Very nice morning. 5 Quote 21-22 Total Snowfall: 21.1" (123% of seasonal normal 17.1" )
gabel23
Ended up with 2". Nice little surprise for once; we started the day off with a 50% chance of snow and forecast said little to no snow accumulation.

Clinton
Much need moisture that was able to soak in. @NWSKansasCity Kansas City received 0.67" of precipitation yesterday...that was the highest single day total since 11/10/21 when we got 1.25". In fact the 0.67" yesterday exactly matched the total precipitation Kansas City received for the entire month of February.
Iowawx
I finished with 5.8" of snow here. The higher end models were right on. It's amazing how we went from having severe thunderstorms with 60mph winds and heavy rain Saturday night to having almost 6 inches of snow just 24 hours later. The weather in the Midwest is interesting for sure!
OmahaSnowFan
Measured 2.8" IMBY and was enough to have a snow day for the kids as well. This along with the .87" of rain on Saturday sure is nice!

Hawkeye
My liquid total is 0.39", so the ratio is a nice 14 to 1. The bottom layer is wet because of the warm ground, but the rest of it is fluffy and dry. 3 Quote season snowfall: 27.1" '20-21: 52.5" '19-20: 36.2" '18-19: 50.2" '17-18: 39.5" '16-17: 17.9" '15-16: 20.0" '14-15: 30.4" '13-14: 48.3" '12-13: 34.1" Average snowfall: ~30"

Here at my house I now have 3" of snow on the ground. This is a wet heavy snow and it is mostly off the road and driveways but now there is even some snow there as well. At the current time there is snow falling with a temperature here of 32. 4

tStacsh
Annoying couple inches of wet snow on grass and colder surfaces. Come on spring. Saturday night we were out by the bonfire until the storms rolled in late. 64 degrees at 11 pm. What a tease.
Tom
ORD officially had 2.9" of snowfall yesterday bringing the season total up to 31.5" (just shy of 2" BN to date). At times, it was coming down rather hard in the morning hours. While I do enjoy watching it snow, Spring snows don't necessarily bring that vibe as do snowstorms during the Winter when it counts. By this afternoon, the snow will be gone in full sun...AZ is calling my name.
