Hmm not bad for almost June, I bet the sun breaks are putting in some work bringing those gusts to the surface.

I am pretty sure this is the first time I have ever been on I-90.

Too bad it's such a gloomy day.   That view is beautiful when it's nice with the lake in the foreground and Rainier in the distance to the south.

Feels like the opposite of amplified... seems very progressive with no sharpness to the troughs.   Hence we have rain almost every day.

Rather interesting that you and SEA have been cooler than here a number of times this month.  I have 59/47 for the day.  I did have a 37 degree low last week which was pretty impressive though.

These have to be the absolute worst model runs I've seen for this time of year.  Just absurdly wet.  At least one of the days next weekend looks like a total loss at this point.

You have higher max temps usually but have colder nights. Coldest low here this month was 38 on 5/9…and just 25 freezes this cold season. Less than half of the freezes you got this season.

Yeah...I was referring to min temps especially.  Quite unusual how many have been chillier near the Sound.  In the winter my maxes are often lower than SEA, but during the warmer part of the year they can often be warmer.

Think a lot of it during the last 2 months has maybe just been us clearing out better overnight? I know that was the case of quite a few mornings when I ended up several degrees cooler.

At least we have another stretch of nice days in a couple days. It’s nothing like a couple weeks ago when it was relentless and there was no end in sight. Some thunderstorms would be nice though. With any luck we might have some in the pipeline next week.
