Yeah would definitely not match most peoples preferences except randy maybe lol. Wish it would just stay the way it’s been recently even though it’s been dry it’s been really nice.

Just looked at 1955 up here. July was legitimately cool, mean temp for the month of 58.1 at Silver Falls. August was chilly, average high was 77 which is near average, but 9 sub-40 lows and a monthly average low of 42.8.

Looks like we will top out at 68 today. Currently 66 and still cloudy, had a couple sunbreaks around 1-2pm, but other than that a fairly pleasant and overcast day.

Unreal. I probably haven’t watched more than a few innings of baseball total in the last 20 years but watched almost the whole game today. Baseball is fun when the games mean something.

Wow, looking at fall 1955, there was a big heat spike here in early September. The 98 at Silver Falls, is close to an all time record for September. The month finished with well above average precip, October was also incredibly wet with 4.31" falling on the 9th! Looks like a pretty cold airmass to close out the month with a 42/32 with 1.22" of precip on the 31st. Early November got pretty mild peaking at 66 on the 8th before the hammer dropped. They recorded 26/2 on the 15th. November had above average precip as well.

So just one cloudy day in the entire summer brings your highest possible percentage of sunshine down to a max of 98.89% for the season.   Just one day makes your 99% claim impossible.

Drizzle here this morning... very pleasant now with a partly cloudy sky and 71 and completely calm.    73 in North Bend.

Afternoon clearing at least to partly cloudy is preferable in the summer.    Particularly on a weekend.

We had a couple hours of partly cloudy but looks like the breaks are filling in per the satellite.

Wayyyy cloudier and cooler than I expected today. Looks like it will remain overcast and we've already reached our high temperature of around 71F today. Could go a bit higher but likely not much.

Honestly thought it would clear out around 9 today w/ highs just short of 80F. Mixing failed
