Moisture now showing up on Sea radar. looks like a feature is braking off the main area of the disturbance and might hed our way. We could see some bands coming from west to east further north than what has been shown. Be nice not to have to smoke a ******* pine cone...

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

Thought Bellingham just had some snow?

EDIT: nvm, I see you answered this above.

Bellingham has had snow on the ground all week... they got snow going into the outflow period which was perfect.

My mom described it this morning as a winter wonderland still.   :)

I think my parents location get much less wind in outflow than where this live camera is located so they still have snow on the trees as well.

Back to snow in Salem.  Cancel the Marion County suicide pact.

Suicide watch still in effect for Eugene. Got at least .3" of freezing rain. Tree limbs are are starting to break. Worst yet, it's going to take a monumental effort to thaw out my car to go to the liquor store. Roads are still fine at least.

Still not a single snowflake since Feb 2014.

I'd give my left nut (I really don't need either one at this point) to get what you got in December 2013.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Just a few flurries so far at my place, although I still have snow around from last week's events.

If this happens the day before Christmas, Santa will need to bring Fred a bigger server --

Not really because half of the people will not be here. Basically, all of WA could care less if that low goes there... It would be our worst nightmare up here.

18z gfs is ugly for any potential snow Sunday up north

No doubt... precip has been backing off that day with each run.   Down to almost nothing which basically agrees with the ECMWF.

That sounds amazing. Too bad it is so rare for us lowland people to get snow that actually sticks around with cold and sunny weather after. It just might work for PDX this time though.

Dream scenario this time around for PDX.   A good 4 days to enjoy the snow with cold weather and sunshine.

I'd give my left nut (I really don't need either one at this point) to get what you got in December 2013.

I'd trade 4 2013's for one 2008.

Here's a pic from Dec 2013. This was taken 6 days after the snowstorm. Cold, dry air really preserves the snowpack.

Both... not any precip when we want it, then the rain pushes in. Guess it depends how north you are

The weather gods hate the Puget Sound area...what did we do to deserve this awfulness. We cant get moisture from the north or the south....ahhhhh.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

That is what made November 2014 so nice, we had a couple of inches of snow going into the cold so it lasted for a week...I love those setups. I hate the overrunners with an immediate warm up...like last week.
