Started as moderate rain here (36F) and the ground seemed to absorb the moisture and remained dry...it was odd. Then it started to sleet/ice pellet and temp dropped to 34.

It's dead calm here.  We had gusty a** winds out of the east a few days ago and there was no warning.

There's a possibility I may go the entire winter with a max depth of 21.00".

 

For statistics sake I was trying to shoot for 24-30 depths but not sure if that's likely at this point now.

Our depth in Bend is about 24", could continue to grow. Hoping this next band fizzles somewhat coming over the Cascades.

Looks like heavy snow on some Vancouver Island highway cams. Snowing at the Victoria airport now too, but much warmer and nothing more than a light rain here in Victoria proper. Amazing what a little terrain enhancement can do.
