I can do this routine in my sleep after living here for almost 5 years now. Either someone hit ice and took out a pole, or a squirrel wanted to warm up its nuts and got cooked, or a really fat squirrel broke a branch over the power line. Anyway let’s see how many hours or days it will be this time!

Oh I have a dedicated extension cord that runs from the upstairs closet where the junction box is for the dish, I just run it downstairs to a plug that’s on generator power…No way I am missing football Sunday!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

PDX NWS has supplied a visual aid for a potential warm tongue, which should result in it busting to everyone's delight.

I have a wireless charger that will keep my laptop charged for 24 hours, and another backup in the garage that will do the same.  If we lose power I can just stream it all.  I hate technology most of the time but it has its advantages.

It feels like it sometimes! I have 3 cords I run, one for the satellite dish, one for Elon Musk so I can keep posting here, and one cord that I will run directly to the generator from the garage to power the garage fridge and chest freezer. Haven’t bothered with that one yet since it’s so chilly in the garage anyway.

Evaporative cooling at the silver falls station. We were around freezing all night, but this station is on a ridge…

The UW radar loop shows the stuff that's moving off the coast a lot heavier than my Radar Scope app.....It hardly shows up.  I don't think I've seen such a difference in radars before......?
