Phil
This is kind of irrelevant to the thread topic, but wow that is just gobsmacking cold being modeled for Thanksgiving across ME/VT/NH/MA. Phil
I still do not really understand why people would root for wind storms. To destructive for my taste. Two reasons for me. 1) I make lots of money after a big windstorm. They’re actually an important source of income for me during the winter since work is relatively scarce otherwise. 2) They benefit the ecosystem in the long run. Weak trees (which are often over-mature) are taken down, which paves the way for forest succession and species diversity. Good Lord what a dumb discussion.Yes, they do enjoy the dry summer weather, however they don’t have any AC, so the warmer summers lately have apparently been more uncomfortable for them.
