I have no idea why it performs so poorly in these cases. 00Z ECMWF still shows some snow tonight and tomorrow morning but I don't see much of anything streaming in on the SEA or the coastal radar. A decent amount of it is shown as snow. The million dollar question is will it be able to remain snow during the warmest daytime hours tomorrow. 850mb temps suggest it's quite possible.
