I like how you are calling upper 80s to 90 "warm" -- most around here would call it hot. ;)

Compared to 105 degrees in Portland.   90 is a pretty typical summer warm spell at SEA.

Boat launch at Sammamish was in overflow parking and public beach is packed.   Drinking a cold beer with butt in the water on the swim board on the back of the boat with the kids on floaties and playing is the best way to spend this day.

You have said in the past on more than one occasion that for you anything over 85 is hot and uncomfortable, now 90 is just "warm" da fuq 🤣😂

90 is warm.   Typical Seattle summer warm spell.   And would prefer it stay in the low 80s.    That is the sweet spot.

If this keeps up, Eugene/Springfield will obliterate their hottest August ever and hottest month of all-time. Now will be the hottest August achieved and 3 of the 5 hottest Augusts will be from the last 3 years.

That is a scary trend and buckle up folks up north...it's headed your way in the coming decade. This is very bad.

While that's very true, my life is a very sad one. Living in the hellscape that is my brain is extremely hard to push through. I wouldn't wish this condition on anyone.

I am indeed very grateful for the support I've had from friends and people all over the country while battling the hardships of severe epilepsy.

"Pretty typical" relative to what? Last decade or so? Prior to 2010 or even 2000, 90s was a rarity. Top 5 with 90s days happened since 2015.

90 isn’t that unusual.    Happens most summers.   Even 1955.   Not a big deal.  105 sucks.

No it was not. Most years had at least one 90+ reading at Sea-Tac in the 1990’s.

From Seattle northwards, 90’s were much more unusual. I would often go a year or two with no 90’s at my place in Shoreline. 90’s were rarer yet in Bellingham. Now, most years feature at least one 90+ day at KBLI.

Fair enough. The constant drought and endless record high summer temps does get old after a decade but at this point we have to acknowledge the reality of our situation, this is just summer here now, the old days are gone. So we must embrace the change and pray we get lucky with the fire situation.
