East winds haven't really ramped up here yet fully, but it's still pretty breezy. Down to 18 with snow!

You sure it's rain? Yesterday it was very lightly snowing and it looked a little like rain but it was snow. If you are where you are, temperatures look to be colder than 28 degrees.

Temps continuing to drop as moisture approaches. Spokane down to -10.

Precip type has changed from freezing rain to sleet. 28 degrees. Pavement is starting to get icy. Only more category to go and it'll be snow. lol fat chance

Low of 14.7 here. Likely won’t match that for a while. 16.9 currently. Looking forward to all the reports and pics of snow and ice from our Portland area posters today.

Everything is already nicely covered in a layer of snow. I hope I don’t hear the ping of sleet for a few more hours at least.

It is turning white all around here for the most part due to the sleet. At least when everything is completely ice cubed it will look pretty.

14 degrees here on the east shore of lake tapps. Even the dogs didn’t want to stay outside. So glad I put anti gel in my diesel tanks on Thursday!

HRRR has been upping totals gradually, shows 8" here

12z HRRR. If it were to verify, PDX is looking at 4-10” and the warning would need to be updated to a Blizzard Warning for a large part of the metro imo.

Currently sitting at 17°, maybe drop down a degree before sunrise. It’s dry and breezy, clouds look stormy to my South. Hard to think the highs in the teens for today, brrr.

Like usual, I will be right on the line of the heavier to lighter snow totals. Should still do decent before a period of sleet.

Well the airport is officially reporting freezing rain.

Good news, the NWS Portland is saying the front is slower so it could stall. So they have increased snow totals. 6”-12” for a good portion of the Metro area. Looks like they think Battle Ground will be the big winners.
