When someone gets banned, the IP address they posted from are added to a pool to ban as well. Ten years of this place and a couple hundred bans across the Pacific Northwest has yielded just around under a thousand IPs being marked. I am working on that this week. I figure at this point if your account gets banned, but you find ways to get back on and harass people or pull a Link and threaten to murder me, then I'll just add your IP address to a table to drop. It happens consistently to me when I’m on my Verizon data plan (but not AT&T), so that makes sense. Popular Post TigerWoodsLibido
For the moment the internet is back. Hallalujah!!! 38F and cloudy in downtown Springfield. A lot of work left to do but progress is gradually being made. Many parts of the city are still without power, including parts of Mohawk, where there are 2 major traffic lights still out. The city park has been devastated by the fallen trees, many of which just straight up got uprooted and fell into the park. The kiddo's school had the water system break and some structural damage resulting in 75% of the school's floors being underwater and having to completely replace those floors, which could take quite a while. Meanwhile, the school itself is still without power. Really hoping for a cool summer but if it's another inferno then all these broken-off tree branches and other parts of the trees that fell will dry out and become a really easy way to rapidly spread wildfire throughout the city. Maybe we'll get lucky and have a wet Apr-early Jun and save our a$$ a bit, but I'll be surprised. In any event. Hope y'all are doing well. TT-SEA
My 80 year old mother couldn't stand being trapped by snow in her sloped driveway up in Bellingham so she figured out how to use the electric snowblower that my dad bought years ago and cleared her driveway today and then took pics and sent them to me and my sister. I specifically told her not do that... particularly since there was a layer of ice under the snow. If it hadn't melted by today then I was going up there tomorrow but she couldn't wait. They have lots of snow on the ground up there still. 9 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

You’d think 2016/17 was a strong niña based on how the 500mb pattern played out, but in reality it wasn’t a niña at all (Jan onwards). Ha, I’d never actively root against you guys. If anything I’m empathetic since you guys struggle as much, if not more than we do in this climate era. If I was going to root against anyone it would be Scandinavia since troughing there is a winter killer for all of North America. Oh yeah, we’re all gonna torch for the next 2-3 weeks. Or at least average well above climo. Alaska and Greenland will score, though! There’s a chance we could sneak a southern stream system in here without cold (technically it can snow here with above average 850mb temps) but that is threading the needle and usually doesn’t work. Less than here, but yeah. It’s the GFS, bro. There won’t be much if any cold in Canada in a +EPO/+PNA pattern. Alaska will probably get cold, but it’s at everyone else’s expense. And it’s probably correct. Essentially repeating the subseasonal evolution of December (with some minor differences, of course). At least North America was able to score mid January with that SSW event. Back to El Niño.
