1.05" of rainfall/hail yesterday afternoon/evening with the strong storms that moved through here before changing to heavy snowfall around midnight. Measured 7" this morning! Pretty incredible for May

3" of snow in 2 hours tonight and still dumping. A very good overperformer

Clip of the storm from beginning to end.....very 😎 cool!  https://video.nest.com/clip/1fd9d2f06b77452cbc676458b5263e1e.mp4

It's pretty stormy out there this evening even though it's pretty scattered. Overall, it was still a pretty nice sunny day, thought I might be able to avoid it until the clouds rolling in at around 5pm.

Yup. That band formed around 5pm and gave us a pretty nice downpour with hail, lightning and thunder. It led up somewhat since then with some light showers but returns on the radar is indicating some heavier cells are moving in again.

Clear with a somewhat impressive low of 37 this morning. Even had a touch of light frost on the roof. Weird spring.

58/44 yesterday with widely scattered showers and .05” of rain. Hoping we can score a little more in the way of activity today.

Just under an inch of rain since Monday afternoon now.    SEA missed out on most of it... but most of the city of Seattle was under the c-zone last night.    The entire I-90 corridor from Seattle to the Cascades had heavy rain.

Evidence on the EPS weeklies for a period if large scale WPAC subsidence as we head towards the summer solstice.

Excellent news if that verifies. A Jesse pattern.

Outside of some stray heavy showers that included some hail, it was a fairly sunny day here yesterday. Too far south for the CZ and a bit too far north for cells rolling in off the coast. Reminded me of those hair-pulling days trying to get something to come overhead for snow. Had a 60/43 spread and picked up .18 to put us at 73% of normal rainfall for May.

Low of 42 this morning. Maybe we get some more action down this way today.

Nice cool morning to wake up to. Honestly wouldn't mind if the rest of the summer was like this. Getting central air installed later this week, so I guess that is a sure fire sign of a multi year cold summer streak.

I was under the assumption that by this point in the spring we’d know to stop trusting any advertised rain more than 5 days out.

Only +2.3F here and a whopping .62" of rain and almost all of that fell on the very first day of the month.

Down to 41F last night tho so an impressive low temp given how warm we almost always are down here compared to the rest of the region.

The last 2 summers haven’t ended up being too hot here outside of a few hot days here and there so I haven’t gotten one. Might get one this year because I feel like my luck may run out. Summer 2018 and 2017 were pretty miserable without AC.
