I was also a young child during the Columbus Day Storm. I was in Cathlamet which is in southern WA on the Columbia. I don't remember the storm but I remember the sky being yellow before hand. We were eating dinner when the news said a storm was coming and then the lights went off. Afterwards I remember our car which had been in the driveway, rolled across the street into the neighbor's yard. The power was out and there were many power lines down. The strangest thing I remember was a window in a bedroom that had blown out and the glass was embedded in the opposite wall, like ten feet away.

Yeah GRAF this morning is considerably stronger than its previous runs.
