TT-SEA
Back to the "If I did this" BS again? C'mon Tim, that's pathetic. The radar looks terrifying right now! I am very afraid of rain. Is it below 90 degrees outside?? I might be trapped here. I am absolutely terrified of anything below 90. I am fetal position now. Tell when its OK to get up. TT-SEA
The only dramatic aspect of that post is your response to it. We went just did this a few weeks ago. Why start it up again? Because I am told that I have a "primal fear" of anything less than a record hot summer. When I have said nothing like that. But you say above normal across the country is terrifying! Wonder what the response be if I said the trough next week and cold anomalies in the PNW are absolutely terrifying? Not that I think that of course. You only seem to be concerned about me being unhappy. Like you have been waiting 2 years and now its time for me to be miserable again and you can't wait. But I am not and its silly to think that. And you keep going with the endless psycho-analysis. Let it go. BTW - this last winter was one of the worst ever in my opinion. Any change will be an improvement. Barely complained all winter. Just rolled with it (and went to Hawaii and Palm Springs). I don't complain much any more even when I dislike the weather. SilverFallsAndrew
I had a pretty nice hail shower yesterday which coated the ground in hail. Had to start a small fire in the fireplace this morning to take the chill off. It was 57.5 this morning in my living room when I got up. I will be replacing my windows in the next couple of weeks. SilverFallsAndrew
I'll be super curious to hear your savings on energy costs. I keep track of crap like that at my house! I think it will be fairly significant. I have a furnace, but I do not generally use it. Usually use the woodstove and area heaters, the area heaters are not very efficient. My guess is it will eliminate or dramatically reduce my need for area heat, and reduce the amount wood I use by 25%...I will try to keep track and see how close my guess is. I do think the difference will be dramatic!
