Decent echoes near Jim, seem to be increasing though hard to tell with radar being wonky. Would nice if he could get a little on the ground going into the real cold.

Over me as well but nothing falling.   I checked the traffic cams and nothing seems to be falling there either.

I found this one from this morning...

If anyone cares Maple Valley is blanketed in snow while Covington is just soaked

Good god Tim, I bet the first search you did included Covington, just because. WOW, you can't spin this one, no coincidence or anything.... LOL

It would be kinda funny if Jim somehow got screwed through the winter. He's semi-literally living under an anti-snow dome.

My brother messaged me from The Dalles, he says it is coming down pretty hard again and they have a fresh half inch or so.

NWS has issued a short term forecast for that snow band around Wilsonville, people under that could pick up a solid dusting.

Snow has fired back up here over the past 30 minutes with some very weak echoes. Picked up a solid dusting on the cars from it.

Too bad that band near Wilsonville isn't 20 miles north.

It's been sitting over me for two hours. Light non sticking snow. It really isn't spectacular.

Edit: its moved on. But it formed over me and say for a couple hours.

I did 'snow king county' and got nothing.

Then did 'snow' and picked cities in south King County.   Started with Maple Valley since its the closest to me and that came up on top.

I've never really understood the delighting in the misery of others aspect here. We're all in this together.

It has snowed here lightly for the last hour and a half and has amounted to absolutely nothing.  Zero.  You can't even say we got a TRACE.

There are some very small flakes falling here as well now.   I can see why it would add up to absolutely nothing.

At this point I would love it if it just cleared out...But we've seen this before.

I think you were just on the weak edge of it. I see reports on facebook that said about an inch of snow in areas of Oregon City/Canby.

The NAM hints that clearing may be hard to come by the next couple days.

I'm thinking a lot of 30/28 type days if that is the case. I had an exciting 32/31 spread today.

Any way we could split this thing into two topics... One for Washington and one for Oregon... Include lower BC in WA. ???

I agree. It would be helpful.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

A smaller snow band has developed around Silverton and Mt. Angel, snow starting to stick down there too.

Looks like snow has developed along HWY 213 all the way from Silverton to I-205 now...Reports that OC Fire District responding to 3 accidents on 213 between Oregon City and Mulino.

Reports from my spotter network coming in fast and furious on this one.

The MM5 NAM shows the precip basically spins around the PNW for the next 2 days.

Crazy how weak this push has become.
