Bryan1117
Looks like OMA is getting some good returns on the back end.Yeah we are getting hit pretty good this morning, moderate snow falling in West Omaha currently and it's slow going out there on the roads. With the 1/2 to 1 inch that we picked up yesterday evening, and another 1 to 2 inches this morning - a solid 2-3 inches of snow across the Omaha metro looks good. Not a great system by any means, however we will take it!
jaster220
Take some pics!  It's been 5 weeks since we have seen close to 1".  Enjoy the snow whoever is getting hit. OUCH! ..and here I thought my 2 wks was horrid. Unlike most W > E systems we see around the MW, this one actually has a "tail" component with snow wrapping around the back of the SLP. Actually continues over to us in MI tomorrow. Some may get the lake to enhance and score legit WWA amounts. Mother Nature shall giveth little this Winter to Eastern Nebraska, and then of course she will quickly take it away. Snowshoe
34° and light snow most of the day. Roughly 2" of the forecasted 3-5". Strange for a January storm but snow accumulation severely limited by warm surface. Seems more like April snow. On the bright side it covered up the dirty snow left behind from the thaw.
