Tony
Record high in play tomorrow? Most are thinking it's going to happen. This is ORD: "The big story on Friday will be the near record or record breakingwarmth. Models are now all in agreement that warm front will clearour area well to the north by Friday morning. Extreme warm forFebruary air mass at 850 mb and 925 mb will continue to beadvected eastward from the Plains as anomalous mid-upper ridgebuilds northeastward over the Midwest. The height rises will workto shunt the mid and high cloud cover that we`ve been dealing withtoday off to the northeast, yielding full sunshine during peakheating. Regarding the progged 850 mb and 925 mbtemperatures tomorrow, they are basically off the charts for midFebruary, near or above the daily max around this time of themonth for ILX and DVN. The guidanced progged thermal profiles arewell supported by the low-mid teens Celsius at 850/925 mb sampledby 12z RAOBS from across Nebraska and Kansas that will be advectedinto our area." NEJeremy
67 today for a record high and we'll break it again tomorrow with highs in the low 70s. Saturday's high in the low 60s might end up being our coolest day all the way until next Thursday.

St Paul Storm
Thank goodness for 50s and 60s this weekend. I have a frozen drain tile in my yard that needs to thaw out before the potentially severe t-storms on Monday. Being able to turn the outdoor hot water spigot on in mid Feb is a blessing.
