Looks like EUG snuck down to 25 this morning. Only 33 at SLE. Speaking of SLE, they are now running a -2.6 departure on the month.

Much cloudier last night, so didn’t manage a freeze here. I actually woke up very late, so obviously had to check the 6z GFS and it gave me good dreams for the rest of the night. Let’s hope the 12z stalls the low perfectly off the coast like that as well.

Still think in the end it’ll be just fine here in tacoma. Most of the models show some precipitation making it into the central/south sound mid next week. It’s not much but would be enough.

I didn't see Rod really being bullish, this am anyway.  This am he had us with just possible snow showers and last night Mark, although he didn't go out to Friday, wasn't putting any money on much snowfall either.  I got the sense that both see the usual.  Moisture runs out mostly when the cold air arrives.  Been the same sad story all three times this winter.  This one could turn out for the good but I didn't see anything that gave my much hope for the PDX general area. 

I didn't see that graphic you posted.  Must have missed it.  His 7-day didn't show that.

System must have come in farther south than anticipated because it ended up staying cloudy most the night here. Low of 38.

Went back and looked at Rods forecast.  Made no mention of accumulation, just snow showers and 36f for Wed and sun and snow flurries for Thurs with a high of 32.  Didn't seem bullish at all other than there could e sticking snow "somewhere".  The map he posted for precip showed the death donut over PDX.

Washington weenies can’t comprehend Oregon possibly getting snow. The 12z looks great down here, but obviously still plenty of time for details to change. Certainly no sign of a rug pull yet like a few of our Washington weenies started to mention yesterday.
