Maybe I’m weird but I’ve always liked the early sunsets. The long evenings can be cozy. On the flip side I’ve always enjoyed the super late sunsets on the opposite side of the year too. I enjoy dynamism when it comes to daylight length throughout the year. To me it would be strange living at a lower latitude where daylight length and sun angle are more uniform year round. I realize this is just personal preference though.
Just squeaked out 1.01" on the day to go with 1.03" yesterday for rare consecutive 1"+ days. I've never seen that in May before, and could find only 2 instances in the EUG historical record (looks like they didn't make it to an inch today).
Up to 32.5" on the water year (Oct. 1 to date), which is close to normal and a big improvement on last year's ~26" at this point.
Only managed to get 0.01” of rain but at least it did rain a bit. Hopefully there will be more the next few days because it looks like it might get dry for a while after Tuesday.
Hey, that’s my birthday! Looks like this year will be about 25ish degrees cooler than that.
Today had interesting vibes; 49 degree rain with fully leafed out trees and a high sun angle. Long and light, wet and cold. Felt unique.
Interesting how MSNBC just obsesses over lawfare attacks on our former and future president. Meanwhile Americans are understanding what is at play here, with 57% of Americans now stating they understand the fact Democrats are weaponizing our injustice system against a political foe they know they cannot defeat in a fair fight.
